Dr. Eugene A. White, a retired neuroradiologist with Drs. Hill & Thomas, is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa cum Laude graduate of Fisk University and a graduate of the Case School
of Medicine. He published scientific articles in referenced national and international journals and made numerous scientific presentations .His interests have always bridged the sciences and the humanities.

He has enthusiastically advocated for education reform over the years as a vice-president of the Shaker Concerned Parents. He has been active on boards concerned with internationalism (Cleveland International Program, Council of International Programs USA), theater (Great Lakes Theater Festival), arts education (Creative Writing Workshop Projects) and community centers (League Park and Murtis Taylor Neighborhood Centers).
After college he traveled extensively in continental Europe and the British Isles with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, and, since retirement, in Australia and Africa with the Duffy-Lit Ensemble. He studied neuroradiology in Stockholm, Sweden, the French language in Paris, France, and participated in international scientific meetings in Canada, Europe, and Japan.
